Who is the GOAT of chess?
i'd say bobby fisher but everyone has their own opinion
Well they do yes.
But they would be better off having mine, its better.
My opinion is Botvinnik. I think both Carlsen and Kasparov are reasonable and justifiable opinions too, definitely not Fischer.
Hikaru nakumara 2nd
Ding liren 3rd
Anish Giri 4th
Ian Nepomniatchi 5th
That is far off. My friend, Garry Kasparov could beat Hikaru, Bobby Fischer could dominate Ding Liren, Boris Spassky could defeat Anish Giri, and Anatoly Karpov could easily defeat Ian Nepomniatchi.
"Bobby Fischer could Dominate Ding Liren" "Boris Spassky could defeat Anish Giri"
Bruh no.
The correct way:
1. Carlsen
2. Kasparov
3. Ding Liren
4. Anand
5. Nepo

You can't compare players of different eras directly because of how chess has changed. That is why the question is "greatness" it's about how great a player was during their era.
It is not even a question. In the age of computers destroying humans, it should be extremely hard to dominate, as evrrybody has access to 3000 computers. Magnus dominated. Winning against a Super GM these days is incredibly hard even as white. Magnus is simply insane.
Garry Kasparov
Anatoly Karpov
Bobby Fischer
Magnus Carlsen
These are GOAT of chess.
exactly.
GOAT is singular. You are the GOAT or you are not. Not Im sure maybe its one these hundred names....
A goat also animals
Goat is an animal. They are talking about humans. Humans can not be goats, because of the species difference.
That's him, do you know him as well then ?
