There's people like that everywhere. I was playing this game where they were saying my gameplay was bad and stuff, but jeez, nowhere as mean as what you experienced.
I js blocked them so I never have to verse them again.

Unfortunately blocking does absolutely nothing. Even reaching out to chess.com staff achieves nothing. Reporting doesn't appear effective either. Its the biggest flaw with chess.com and they don't appear to even care.
Sorry to hear you had that experience. I always fancied visiting Vietnam, mainly due to the people!
