People who DO NOT RESIGN in a lost position.

Being ahead is one thing. Converting a winning position to a win is another. You're not against stockfish. If you're in the same rating as your opponent, your opponent is also probably susceptible to the same type of blunders and tricks.

I'm ok with losing games but my opponent has to take them from me. If I resigned games just because I'm in a lost position, I would've been down around 100-200 elo.

Yes, I agree. If you're losing but not about to be mated you can still apply pressure and make your opponent earn the win. This approach develops fighting qualities and resilience. Don't resign because you lost an opportunity to win. If you can't win try and grind out a draw.
