A Poem About Ding Winning Round 1 Of WCC

It's now  time for WCC

All said, without doubt, "Gukesh will win, bet with me?"

They showed a lot of stats on the Chess.com website,

And as a Ding fan, Caruana needed to hold on tight.

But now the first match of the game is over,

And Ding has conquered the Gukesh tower.

Surprisingly, Ding Liren won, 

And even more ridiculously, in game one.

I hope Gukesh catches up soon,

Guki for India is a golden boon.

Oh, please, god, let Gukesh win,

Throw Ding's chances back in the bin.

Gukesh's advantage, hope did it bring,
But are we going to see 2018 Ding?
Time pressure was difficult to bear,
Which turned the tables, very unfair.
Ding's huge time pressure, really did take a toll,
But then Guki gave away his lead, and Ding was on a roll.

I want ding to win but gukesh is the obvious fan favorite. However Ding played against Gukesh in the tata steel where he won so i guess he’s on a two win streak
