Is it True that It’s Harder to Play Against a Beginner than a Pro?

I’ve heard people say that sometimes it’s harder to play against a beginner than a pro, and I’m curious about this. From my understanding, pros are predictable because they follow strategies and patterns, whereas beginners can be more unpredictable and erratic. Has anyone else experienced this? https://krogarfeedback.org

I don't think it is true.

When you first learn something about how to play, you can easily be thrown off by moves you haven't seen.

However, by the time you are a pro, by which I assume you mean someone is at least a master, you have seen thousands of possible opening moves. You won't be thrown off by a beginner's random moves.

Actually👆🤓 a study shows that by understatement the player mindset gives to the other opponent make them play pretty poorly. And if the other play player knows how pieces move then you might get cooked

I don't think so . What do you think that , what would be the result of the game if a chess pro ( magnus ) plays against beginners . Beginners are more tend to make blunders and inaccurate moves than a pro

Yes and no beginners sometimes can spot lucky blunders easier but a pro usually wins against other players moreoften

So if beginner gets lucky then yes if your not lucky then no 100-2000 is too much of a skill difference but I wonder if a 100 or 800 is harder to play against

Also that pros tend to underestimate begginers and might accedently blunder checkmate in 10 moves against you .now if they don't underestimate you your cooked though.

Players who only learn lines by heart may get in trouble when someone plays a move they haven't seen. And since weaker players tend not to follow the main lines you might think they can get some advantage against such a player. It is preferable to play lines that you understand than learning moves by heart.

🙃Hmm, at times it does. This is based on my own experience. At times, I just want to play a mate in 7 or less, but if it backfires, then you're doomed🫥. But if you play at your best, they stand no chance😶‍🌫️.
