@pringerarchie Yes, that would have been a very interesting match to witness but because of World War 1 it had to get cancelled.
If you can challenge any titled player (living or dead) in a chess match, who would it be?
Nezhmetdinov, one of the most underrated chess masters in history that never got the title of Grandmaster. He should have though, because Mikhail Tal, one of the most brilliant minds in attacking, had a large losing streak against him.
Did anyone mention playing against any chess masters from the early 1800s or even older? Since it hasn't been invented yet, they may not be titled, but some are unbelievably strong. For example, take Phillip Stamma, who published some of the earliest chess books.
Hikaru only play good chess not playing the egg for example as Levy

The person who got banned was @chesssblackbelt. He must have gotten himself into some sort of mischief.
A player that hasn't been mentioned (I think) is Rashid G Nezhmetdinov. He was an attacking marvel, and came from very tough beginnings.
