Nepo, unlike Gukesh and other players, finished the candidates without a single loss, yet it wasn't enough to win it. I feel sorry for him. Chess is brutal.

Vaishali brought much more fun to the candidates as her games were more decisive, but I understand that it is sad to see your favorite player not winning without losing.
