I'm thinking of making some contributions to the chess openings wikibook, and maybe the chess opening articles, there. I already have a username, there, though: "Mac Frazier".
My focus will probably be on openings I play a lot of:
- Scotch Game
- Goring Gambit
- Scandinavian Defense
- Caro-Kann Defense
- Tarrasch Defense
These openings don't need as much work as the more obscure ones, but they're the ones I know something about.

The purpose of this forum is to collect as many people as possible to renovate the Wikipedia opening theory!
Wikipedia is a wonderful site for everything imaginable, from learning about govornment to Medivel history, to Outer Space, and yes of course: Chess!!
Wikipedia has a lot of opening theory, but some of it needs a little help! I would like to collect as many people as possible to join Wikipedia and help fix the openings!
Here is what to do:
Just post here, and say "I will help Wikipedia", or something along those lines. Then, go to wikipedia.org, and join. JOIN WITH THE SAME USERNAME AS YOUR CHESS.COM NAME!!! That way we can keep track of each other and help each other. I have already joined.
We will work on all of the opening theory there, but I want to concentrate on a few that need a little more help than the others:
Corn Stalk Defense
Goldsmith Defense
Fred Defence
Barnes Defense
But, of course, any help to the Opening Theory is appreciatied!
So please, join and help Wikipedia!
