Does chess has money

Want to explore the possibility of making this passion into my profression.

Do chess clubs/online gaming sites make money. Is there potential here.

What is the future of chess. Will the online membership increase with time and makes a business sense to start an online chess gaming site which is localised to a small geaography ?

Either you need to be a top 100 world player, be a successful coach/author or compete with Erik/Chess.com to stand a chance to make this a complete profession.  If the choice is c),  this thread is going to end very quickly.

Or you can smuggle drugs inside the piecs. But again thread will close quickly if you decide to do that.

Nah I don't think you can make much money out of chess. Try poker?
