Wich defense is your favourite?

I prefere sicillian but post your favourite defense

The QGA is a bit boring but effective and minimizes the amount of theory needed... I haven't found something I think is better.

There is no such thing as a "best" opening. There are a finite number of good openings, but there is no best.

I could go tooting that the French, Petroff, Stonewall Duch, and Classical Dutch are the best because I play them. That would be total hogwash though.

Again, THERE IS NO BEST!

It'd be hogwash if you were to say they were the best without qualifying the statement with any subjective criteria... but if you were to provide criteria you could then say correctly that this or that defense is best at satisfying those criteria.
