Queens Gambit, Why?
It has flexibility, and has long term pressure on blacks king + occupying the central squares.
Which Gambit?
Well I just like it because it gives me a sense of securaty and while chasing a king around you ruin therir defence in the proccess unless they know what to do. But even so it will get you in a good position. Never heard of the Wing Gambit. I'm gonna check that one out.
I enjoy mixing in both the Scotch and Danish Gambits after 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6. As Black, the best gambit is the Benko, although I have long given it up.
The muzio gambit scares the daylights out of me, the one time I played against it OTB I barely came out with a draw
Which would you say is your favorite gambit? And which gambit do you find to be the most interesting that you might want to learn more about? My favorite gambit is the Queens gambit, Kings gambit, and smith-morra gambit. The one I find to be the most interesting gambit would have to be hands down the Fried Liver Attack Also called Fegatello Attack. And yes it is considered a gambit.
