I got curious about what effect my site has on the players using it. I checked who the most frequent user during the last 2 months was and what the development in rating was. He is from Canada and started using AiChessCoach.net about 3 months ago. About 300 points in rating improvement over 3 months. Quite ok. It was just about the same effect that I got myself when I became the very first user of the app.

Today my hobby application AiChessCoach.net passed 3000 users since the start on the 25th of August 2020.
Thanks to all who are using it and thanks to all of you who have provided feedback to help me improve it over time. It has been a fun journey thanks to all the people who chose to join my journey by using it.
Thank you all! Play chess and have fun!

Just used it for the first time, reckon I need more games under my belt before I get a lot out of it (though it might be time to abandon the French!)

You could also see it as an opportunity to finetune your french opening skills. If you embrace the feedback given in the report and get it regularly I am quite certain it will become a strong weapon also for you over time.

You should add your website in your profile, description or both! What's the name again lol

Very good site thank you I will play a few more games and analyze every week to see if I improved in my openings thx

@DarkNightK1 thank you.

This is awesome, thanks Git.  I wonder, however, if you can allow an option to divide it up further.  My own performance varies wildly between daily chess (when one is allowed to use Opening Explorer) and rapid chess (for me, about 250-300 points).

I would love to see my own stats with rapid games only.

Just throwing out that suggestion!

@Sholom90, nice idea. I will think about it.

Hmmm any updates?

Gitarrtomten

You now get your latest 200 games included in the AiChessCoach.net analysis. The First time a player requests a report will now take a little longer time due to more games being processed. But after that it should be back at 60 seconds or less.

Gitarrtomten

200 games has been tried before, but some browsers had timeouts so it did not always work. I have had to switch back to 100 games occasionally. From now it may still fail first time for some users but If you retry after 2-3 minutes you will get your report. After that first request it should work fine without timeouts.

Nice!

200 is too much and would go back to when i played different openings

this should be customizable

I am considering making the number of games configurable.

But I have also noticed that the feedback has better effect if more games are included.

I have tried 500 games myself, but that was done with offline processing.

That way repeated mistakes are easier to fix.

But at the moment it will not work with that many games online both due to browser and server timeout issues.

Hi!

Some updates. The feedback database has been updated with the latest top level games now. Some 9,5 million positions are part of the feedback. Also passed 5000 users some time ago. New algoritm to prioritize feedback position as well. Would be nice to hear what you guys think. Still free to use.

Have a great day!

it would be nice to include a few more games though

yes, I am am working on including more games but there are currently timeout issues both in browser and server that prevents this. I know how to fix it but will need to change architecture a bit to make it work. When I find the time for it…
