Sicilian Dragon vs Yuguslav Attack.Spectacular games always

what is yuguslav attack
IsaVulpes

With White:

1. Ruy Lopez

2. King's Indian Attack

3. vs Sicilian: Sozin or Closed

With Black:

1. King's Indian Defense

2. Pirc Defense

3. Modern Defense

I like the fact that i got so many same-looking openings (KIA, Closed Sic ; Pirc, KID, Modern), so I don't have to learn very much theory + plans in opening & middlegame are very clear to me. This helps me to play opening+early middlegame pretty fast, so i got more time to think about my moves later in the game (applies only to OTB)

As white:

English

I used to play 1. e4 and back then I played the king's gambit against e5 and the morra against c5, the exchange against the french and the panov against the caro-kann.

As black:

The french

The benko

The Rubinstein variation of the english

I used to play various sicilians before switching to the french including the dragon, accelerated dragon, and sveshnikov.

To d_case:

Yuguslav attack happens frequently when players castle opposite direction. Then u can throw you pawns to his king.happens mostly in sicilian dragon games and it s pretty hard to stop.

Ruinfeld

I like Pirc Defense, Queen's Gambit, Slav, and sometimes I used Ruy Lopez...

So, With White:

1. Queen's Gambit

2. Ruy Lopez

With Black:

1. Pirc Defense

2. Slav Defense

I prefer less popular openings where the theory doesn't go 20-30 moves deep (like in some lines of the Ruy Lopez) but perhaps only 8-14 moves deep. I enjoy playing chess more than I like memorizing opening lines (or relevant master games).

Seriously, though... at your level mastering opening principles is more likely to improve your rating than studying openings lines. Good luck!

Thanks for all the good advice

Well let's see, what about the scandinavian? A risky albeit very dangerous opening.  I recently got massacred by it. I'm trying to figure out how to counter that k.o.
