Are you talking about your recent games?
According to your stats you've played 608 Italians, 285 ruy-lopez's, 202 scotch's, 201 viennas, 155 bishop's openings, 151 king's gambits, 84 center games, 102 four knights...
Interestingly the vast majority of the Vienna's you faced were vienna gambits.
I avoid that line in 1. e4 e5, I only play it via 1. Nc3 Nf6 2. e4 e5... I feel it's too common and it gets alot less potent when black knows it. But its very good when players don't expect it.
I will say that sidelines seem to be getting alot more popular. Maybe this is due to streamers popularizing sidelines, and a general attitude of avoiding mainlines... chess is changing. The lichess stats are probably outdated already, and misleading in this respect.
As an 1.e4 e5 defender, I'd have to say the most common opening stemming from double king pawn openings is the Scotch on the part of white. After 1.e4 e5, 2.Nf3 Nc6, I see 3.d4 about 60-70% of the time, far more often than the Ruy Lopez, Italian, Center Game/Danish, or King's Gambit. If If I had to guess which white opening is the second most common that I face, I'd say it's the VIenna: 1.e4 e5, 2.Nc3 Nf6, 3.f4.
I really have no point. It's just an observation. I'd be curious as to what white opening most of you 1....e5 players are seeing most often.
