Opening suggestions (Upcoming tournament for nationals)

Suggestions for responses against the English Opening and Reti Opening (as for black)
- Please give some lines you know and maybe we can create our own opening repertoire...

I'm hoping someone could respond seriously to my post....
For Reti... I tried playing g6 after a few lines to fianchetto my bishop on the same line as my opponents, but it often leads me to a cramped position, especially when my opponent really knows the theory,

I can't really afford expensive books and courses online, and I want to be able to create my own repertoire so that I would be able to work on my own for the future and even be able to have someone as my partner.

For the English I really like playing this line:

For the Reti, it really depends on what your opponent plays but I tend to like the 1... d5 lines as I don't mind the Reti gambit or the reversed Indian games
