As a beginner, Italian maybe

There is no one answer to that question. It always depends on the natural instincts of the individual player. Surfing a few of your games, I get the general impression you're most comfortable when you have some space and less comfortable when you don't. And that you do well in classical positions. But the Giuoco Piano aka Italian opens up all sorts of wild replies for Black based on strange second moves like 2..., d5 or 2...,f5 so I'd maybe suggest 1.e4, e5; 2. Nc3 the Vienna Game. As Black, you could do a lot worse than the Slav against 1. d4 and the Scandinavian 2..., Qxd5 (cue howls of derision from the Scandi-dislikers) against 1. e4. (easy to learn and White has to know what he or she is doing).

PS: sooner or later, if a player is to advance to greatness, he or she will need to get a grip on hypermodern openings with less central space and more trying to chip away at their opponent's central control. But maybe leave that for another day.
