The more I see the Reti the more I consider playing it.Which is why I like 1.Nf3, so many options...

Its a gambit, the idea is to either draw black's pawn away from the centre or attack what centre he has. Yes, back has various possible moves, however like in any other opening you need to be prepared for all of them.
