If you discover an opening that hasn't been named yet, it's probably very bad.
Creating my own opening?
Im afraid, that the chances of you creating a new opening are pretty slim. You may however be able to find some risky variation. That you could call your own.
Click the chess board icon. Then select(create) game or sequence of moves.Set up the board, enter the moves and click insert.
I remember creating my own attack against the Two Knights. Then I found that it was already called "The Fried Liver Attack". Then I created my own attackig system against the Siclian only to find out that it already was called The Yugoslav Attack. It as been stated that there is no new thing under the sun. At least it is true for me. But best of luck in your endeaver!!
I'm sorry but all the openings are already there.
I mean, it's not like there are 1000's of them to be made up.
The first few moves have already been played. All that's new are variations that are many moves deep.
ive made an opening as it says on a different post. here it is
i did it by picking a line to go against and i hit the board and started looking at stufff5 d3, that opening would make no sense to play. It only works for black in that situation because white takes the pawn
Hey all, I'm going to try to create my own opening but I'm not sure how to go about it. Is there software where you can look into variations of it or will I have to use pen and paper? ty for any help given.
