Chess opening database

The database at chessbase.com is fairly up to date and comprehensive. I am not aware of a good, free, desktop database. You can get chessbase Light, and download files though to compile your own database - for example, the archive files at This Week in Chess, and any PGNs posted elsewhere.
I'm looking for free unlimited chess opening database link or software.Where can I find?...Do you have a information about this?..
