In that Game white did miss some good moves by Black, but again this was Romantic Bongcloud Chess, and therefore, they would often look at delaying moves as weak, so often even if it was not best, they would advance thier King anyway, plus In his version of the game, Opiumez notes that he commited a few Obvious Blunders.

Ruy Opiumez was a Spanish writer and Chess player, he is known to have played about two hundred games, and placed them in his book, El Axedrez de Bongcloudo. In it, he explained how the Now dying Spanish Bongcloud works, and develops its intracacies.
