Blitzkrieg- the quickest checkmate ever

its a famous mate, its called the scholar's mate or the napoleon

I know as blitzkrieg because it means 'lightning war' in german.

That is not the quickest mate ever. This one is.

There's also a couple of "suicide" mates.

It is NOT the quickest mate

I remember using this tactic.it was kinda delayed, but in the end I sacrificed a rook for checkmate successfully and won checkmate.

Another common blitzkreig trap (don't forget, you don't see your opponent's pieces and all they tell you are how many legal pawn captures you have, and various types of checks - Knight check, Rank check, File check, Long Diagonal check, or Short Diagonal check.)

I have pulled this one many times as White:

1.e4 d5 (One pawn move)

2.exd5 Qxd5

3.Qg4 Qa5 (Again, remember they cannot see the White pieces, and so they figure you played Nc3)

4.Qxc8# 1-0
