Sorry! I ment what is this variation. I know what is the Philidor Defence.

Not sure, Fritz just calls it C41: Philidor Defence. It probably doesn't have a name, some rarely played variations haven't received mainstream names yet. Some of the moves look like inaccuracies, though to be fair the position looks interesting. I don't like black's vulnerable f file or e5 pawn however.

The half open f-file is an advantage for black. What's wrong with the e5 pawn? I don't see how it's weak in any way.

I thought it was but the Anderrson's defence was something else.

An old ECO gives 5)d4,e5 6)N:d4, e5 7)Ne6 Qe7 8)Qh5,g6 9)Qh3,Nf6 10)Nc3,c6 11) O-O,Na6 as white having the upper hand

The only opening name after 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 d6 4.Bc4 is the response 4...f5, called the Lopez Counter Gambit of the Philidor Defense

This is a good variation for black of the philidors def. opening the F-file so early is not bad, but a plus for black and it trades off one of whites strongest attacking pieces (the light sq. bishop) against the philidor. Shores up blacks center it is good I would play the philidor if I got that position every time. Since there are better moves for white I do not, mainly 3.d4 getting the better pawn structure already. It does not have a name besides the philidor def. (no sub variation name)

The computer calls it phildor defense: 3. Bc4
