What if there was a separate category for them?
First up, it's not a men's category and a women's category. It's an open category and a women's category used to encourage female participation in chess. Almost all women players play in open tournaments and play women's tournaments when they're available. The point of the women's category is to improve women chess players through a variety of methods. Secondly, tournaments wouldn't be feasible in most areas if organised specifically for trans people.
so we should just let trans women play in the womens and open categories?
That's what I would advocate for, yes. I see no problem with it. There's no documented evidence of Trans players doing extremely well at the highest levels of women's chess and at any other level, these tournaments are just about creating a good environment for women, providing role models and forming communities of female chess players. As someone who actually plays in these tournaments, I see no problem with Trans women chess players also benefiting from these tournaments, it's not a detriment to me whatsoever. The "evidence" produced in this thread for men being somehow inherently superior to women has been faulty, inconclusive or just plain wrong.
I agree but you disagree with my opinion soo i dont agree
you gonna disprove my claim? or just keep ignoring it because there is no way to prove it wrong?
