too easy.. no worries.. my blunder :)
Somehow at the same time as i was looking at the bottom side of the board as where the black should go to promote i was somehow looking at the white rook and pawn as if they were in their starting places.... silly me :)
Thx
Hi All,
I'm a beginner so maybe i don't understand but...
In this chess Mentor example
Passive Rook and two pawns vs. Rook and one pawn
Author(s): IM Jeremy Silman
why after the white king moves to b1 does the black rook not move to a4 to defend itself and prepare to take the white pawn on f4?
Thx
