In what order should I do Chess Mentor lessons?

Hello everyone. I've recently purchased a Diamond membership because the Chess Mentor feature looks very appealing to me.

I'm just wondering, in what order do you guys do the lessons? Should I do adaptive or sequential? What are the pros and cons of both? I tried adaptive but I feel like it jumps all over the place.

adaptive will soon get you on the right path. but you can also do CUSTOM sessions with your criteria. 

chess mentor is more expensive than you think... you have to factor in the cost of a new laptop everytime you throw yours through the window because you guessed wrong for the 4th time and Silman's smart ass basically calls you a moron (love sillman and all, but cmon man, take it easy).

How exactly does Adaptive work? What does it "adapt" to?
