Does Cm have a preset course lesson for us?

I am a beginner and my only two chess books are winning chess tactics and pandolfinis end game course. Should i just use CM and go through all the material instead of the books?

What is best for maximum efficiency?

I am 1200 on ICC standard and people say i should focus on tactics/end game. will cm help me improve? when should i incoporate books? I plan to use the tactics trainer as well

CM is perfect for you! you can either do "Adaptive Mode" which will focus on lessons at your level, or you can choose specific courses.

As Erik said, CM is perfect for you... Each CM will vary level and topic with every author and course.

That said, Tactics Trainer is likely the best tool for you right now. Using TT and playing consistently are the best things you can do!

Good luck and I hope to see you around Wink...

Thank you. Currently it is set to adaptive. MY schedule is basically: CM, TT, ICC.

I will be having a weekly coach. Is this enough for me to improve?

Sounds pretty good! Though I don't know what ICC is? Wink

That's a lot of study, try also to play some over-the-board chess with stronger players (ask questions, pin ears back).
