Hi all, would somebody please explain the 'alternative correct move' thing on chess mentor, on the first one, i move my knight and put the king in checkmate, but it says that there is a better way, surely checkmate is checkmate...
It could mean that there was a faster way to get checkmate or that the process that you used to get checkmate was flawed. Here's a simplified example:
jp_23 is very good at chess, I believe. I must admit I've never seen a checkmate like that after four moves each!
