Looking for a good coach to get me to 2000. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I always want to improve and I feel that a coach is the way to go. How should I approach this?

I went from 1000-1600 in a year, I could at least get you to where I am. Probably in less time since I just did it and know what it took. Reach out, I love coming up with training programs

As a chess coach myself I would never accept any student rated 800-900 who wanted someone to coach them up to 2000. The gulf between the two is so wide it will just be setting both student and coach up for disappointment.

By all means try to improve (with or without a coach) but realise its many hundreds of hours of study and competitive play ahead (to maybe not even get there in the end) and not a matter of just being coached up to 2000.

not being negative btw, just injecting a dose of realism. I do wish you the best.

Not advice but be open to needing to switch coaches. And you don't need a top tier titled player, either.

"I always want to improve and I feel that a coach is the way to go." ++ It is not.

"How should I approach this?"
++ Study a good book. Start with Chess Fundamentals - Capablanca.

I will get you to a playing strength 2000 if you listen carefully and put enough effort in. This will take time though and you need to take it earnestly.
