The correct answer is 0 dollars an hr. Why? The wealth of free knowledge is staggering. I can literally be taught better by the newest A.I Torch engine, just by playing against it and learning from it. The amount of free GM content that can be learned from, not to mention just getting a diamond membership here could match any coach that I could learn from. I think 20 yrs ago you would have a good point and angle, but technology has a way of devaluing the best human level coaching in a intellectual game imo. I have respect for you this is my opinion in regard to any human, even Magnus.

i do believe personal coaching is better than ai coaching when the teacher is engaged with the student one on one or in a class setting and speaking in live time to them or at least typing etc. in real time -- my jest with the teaching thing is the expense most teachers if they are good should have class skype type sessions where the students could share the cost of 25/35 even 50 dollar an hour then more students could afford to to take real lesson instead of a.i or u-tube type

Hi I learnt chess about 4 years ago but I only just really got into it. I started playing a lot about 6 months ago and I am now at 850 rapid. My chess goal is to be an FM so I think you could really help with that. I will have to firm out the details with my parents however I will text you if I am available for lessons.
