Feedback from my students

The biggest reason people struggle in lower-level chess is because of blunders. They make them in almost every game.

A mistake can instantly put you in a bad position, no matter how well you played earlier: if you had great opening knowledge, great positional skills, great endgame skills, whatever; a single mistake can change everything (you lose a piece or get checkmated).

So, how do you avoid blunders? Follow this simple algorithm:

While avoiding blunders is crucial, I also share a few basic principles with my students. These principles help them figure out what to do in each part of the game - the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame. Understanding these simple principles is like having a map for your moves. I provide my students with more advanced algorithms that incorporate these fundamental principles. When you use this knowledge along with being careful about blunders, you're not just getting better at defending. You're also learning a well-rounded approach to chess. Keep in mind, chess is not just about not making mistakes; it's about making smart and planned moves to outsmart your opponent.

Quite affordable, and provided good insight.
For transparency, I'm a very new player, under 60 days at the time of coaching, but I found the information insightful. I am looking at follow up sessions to nail down a little more specific ideas and questions i have, but the advice I received in the first lesson was very helpful.

Brenzini

Affordable, great insight, and willing to help anytime. I will definitely use again.

Very good at what he does. I’ve learned a lot from him, and my rating has climbed by 100 points. For €10 an hour it’s very worth it, I highly recommend.

Dino is an expert and a top-ranked player in chess. I had the privilege of being one of his earliest students. My chess skills have significantly improved since I started training with him. Plus, at €10, his rate is unbeatably affordable for a chess coach of such a high calibre. Don't delay; begin your learning journey today.

I have had a few lessons with Dino so far and am enjoying them immensely. He meets me where I am and gives feedback/instruction/insight that is appropriate for my level. He has a relaxed approach which I really appreciate. While discussing positions he spends as much time as I need until I understand the particular concept. When I ask him several times to back up a few moves and repeat the rationale for a move he just takes his time and patiently reviews the concept. I don't feel dumb for not understanding immediately. Dino does a fantastic job ands I highly recommend him.

Dino is an exceptional teacher. I am a new player and he is very patient with me. He has extensive knowledge of the game and teaches in a very understandable way. He is always available to answer questions and he is willing to adapt to my changing schedule. I highly recommend him as an instructor!

salkine

Super affordable good teaching knows your strengths and weaknesses, a 2000 as a coach isn’t a good idea if that coach isn’t this guy

Some of the reviews have been copy/pasted, because I asked my students to share their thoughts on three different links. They originally composed their reviews on one link and then copy/pasted them across the other two.

The other two links are: [https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-lessons/feedback-from-my-students-1] and [https://youtu.be/0eTB7oHeRgM?si=a8FiUP8p4yIgWNAS].
