WGM Petrapapp has improved my knowledge of opening theory tremendously. I am a 1900 uscf rated chess player and I am targeting going over 2000 thanks to her guidance. If you like sharp tactical lines or positional play she has a deep repertoire of analysis that will guide you through the opening. She helps develop plans for middle games and also helps improve your end game. She has a lot of resources to help and is very friendly.

I really like to work with you. Your openings are getting better, like the sharp sicilian for both colours (your winning 7.g4! against the Taimanov happy.png ). Your tactical and endgame skills also has been improved a lot!
The next goal is definitely 2000, 2100, what I am sure, you can do it!

Petra has been working with both of my boys. She is very knowledgeable and worked on all facets of the game, openings, mid-games and end games. She formulated training plans according to the different styles and had fantastic results (both boys have gained more than 500 points in their USCF ratings). She is a great coach!

Your boys are really talented. We have started almost from the beginning and I am really happy, that they have developed a lot.

Owen has an encyclopedia memory combined with a great universal side, strong in the openings, tactics, positional play and Luke is an extremely talented tactical player with a sharp opening repertoar. I beleive your boys can be a master in one day, and I hope they always will enjoy the chess game.

It has been great fun for my daughter to have 121 coaching from Petra. The sessions have been intense and great learning. Endgames, tactics, openings and tournament preparation all have been a lot of learning.

Petra is very professional and she keeps the sessions fun but at the same time inspires and teaches the subject well.

Anum is an active player. Her tactical play has been improved a lot, after analysing so many Tal's games, and her endgames became much better after the Averbakh games.

If she has mood to work on chess, we can do lessons again in the future. She has big potential to be a strong female player in England, even she can be the part of the national play if she works hard.

I trained with Petra for over a year. She has a very motivating personality and is a lot of fun to work with. From my point of view, her absolute strong point is the work on the (mainly aggressive) opening repertoire. I can unreservedly recommend anyone who wants to improve to work with her.

Yes, indeed,we worked a lot together, but I think two things was the best, Sokolov middlegame book and the petroff defence. Also I really liked to discuss with you the positions, you had always nice explanations.

Your Understanding of chess is excellent, need a bit still improve your calculations.

I have worked with Petra for more than a year in 2020 and 2021. I have enjoyed her lessons very much. I really appreciated especially her deep knowledge of the openings, where she explained the ideas behind the moves very well. She also recommended some good lines for me based on my style.

We have also analyzed some grandmaster games, which helped to improve my positional understanding a lot. 

I would recommend Petra to anyone who wants to improve in chess and have a good time doing so.
