Is there a way to load the previous firmware?

I've had some success recovering from a stuck/confused board when playing on a level against the A.I. as follows:

1) make sure the placement of the pieces on your board agrees with the placement shown in the app. Don't worry if lights are blinking on the board

2) select pause&exit (not just pause, and certainly not quit) in the app

3) turn your board off and then on again

4) select play against AI in the app and select Resume play of the paused game

I received my swap today. It seems to work well for about ten moves. Then it no longer recognises pieces and makes totally incorrect moves. Booting helps for a new ten-move game but not any longer. Anyone with similar problem?

Who has the time to explain all the hassles this company's product has you believe in? I've contacted their owner, and he does not get back to me. I want my money back and they won't honor their "guarantee". DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

hi everyone

my squareoff pro app chess.com does not show up, i even purchased the square off pro, it is already linked to chess.com but when i start a game with AI, only square off shows up and ligchess nothing else. anyone else has this problem?

also, i can't get the board to lay completely flat i have to slam on the pieces to be recognized due to the wrinkles on the board, i put tons of books no luck even tried a hair drier to see if i get the bubbles out of the board.

Sorry son, you've been had. Their customer service number is 1-800-RIPOFF Good luck in trying to get them to come to the phone or answer any of your questions...they have an angel investor who is trying to get their money back and so therefore released their products too soon on the market, bugs and all! Nice ideas, terrible execution of the product, no help whatsoever.
