...along with the black king/queen, they also switched the bishops and knights... I too find that many manufacturers do not play chess and it shows like this and also many boards are too small for the sets also (but not this one).
OK, just for the fun of it, I'd say that it's the white queen that's been turned into a king ... and vice versa.
