best way to connect DGT PEGASUS to CHESS.COM

after opening the CHESS.Com and going to the settings try to connect the PEGASUS board , you're lucky if it is successful. But most of the time , it will tell you the board is not supported.
Here what to do. Stop on this part where the app tells you that the board is not supported. Do not close the CHESS.COM app w
1. Tap the bluetooth icon on the upper part of your phone or device to disable it
2. Tap the bluetooth icon again to eneble it.
3. Tap search and it will see the DGT PEGASUS board
4. Tap the DGT PEGASUS board.
5. Your device will not allow it but you will tap retry maybe 5 to 7 times. It could be lesser.
6. close the bluetooth search but the bluetooth must remain enabled.
7. Press the DGT PEGASUS. By this time the pairing will be successful.
8. CHESS.COM will see the board. Try to play by enabling the board.
9. This time it will check. the readiness of your board if the pieces are arranged properly. If the app says iit cannot connect to the board. Do not close the app instead repeat step 1 to six.
10. Press retry and your ready to play!
Sorry I forgot to mention this.method works on Android devices only.

@dennisdom this sounded wonderful to solve same android problem, but I have tried this several times yet still have the same issue...Android device does NOT pair with Pegasus even tho Pegasus is tapped 10-12 times, BT turned on/off several times.
There are 6 others I know in DGT Board Club alone (see below) who have the same problem. We all are able connect simply and easily with White Pawn, Chess for Android, Lichess, etc. Chess.com is the ONLY app having these problems for us. Is there something in particular you think we should do...? Perhaps we missed something. Chess.com is giving us no solution despite multiple asks. We would be most grateful to you.

Yes no problem you can post it there. Most of the time this works for me. Can I ask you where or in what partyou are having problem? Try also to connect the board at different times sometimes morning sometimes afternoon I think chess.com has only a certain number of boards connected allowed, because they don't gain anything on these. They can't advertise or something.
In Step #5 I can tap it many times, at varying speeds, but it never pairs. I've repeated all your steps thru 2-3 cycles, but same outcome.
When it comes to Step #7, Pegasus never appears as a board with which to connect.

Hhd3, step number 5 is to force the bluetooth in the android device to be active only,thats why you will tap it a lot and like what I said will not pair with the android device but when you close the bluetooth search, then tap the retry on the CHESS.COM app( this is the part on CHESS.COM app where it is checking the readiness of your pegasus board) then it will pair with Chess.com. Also even if you don't do these steps. Try to connect the PEGASUS at different times with the CHESS.COM sometimes theres no trouble . Sometimes in the morning, sometimes inthe afternoon or evening.
Hello No problem for me the Pegasus works very well I use a Xiaomi and tabs8 Samsung a real pleasure It's a shame that we only have access to opponents and not against the computer I hope there will be an evolution on this subject as with white pawn

Agreed. I pay the monthly fee just to access the bots. It's a great way to test openings.
It would be nice to play bots from the DGT board.
I only managed to connect to the Samsung S8 via DGT's app. It would show on the bluetooth list but always failed to connect that way.

Don't go through the Dgt app.
When I got the DGT Pegasus I had beginner's problems. But when I learned how to calibrate it, there were no more special problems. It works very well for me via an android phone or tablet, both with Chess. com , as well as with Lichess , no problems. The only problem that arises is that the battery is really bad, and I solved this problem by making a wooden frame, where I also put the power bank, so that it is not on the cable. I also use slightly smaller chess pieces than the original ones, cover them with aluminum foil underneath and all in all I can say that it works great. It works just as well on the original chess pieces, I just have a better feeling with the slightly smaller ones.
Hello, I have a problem connecting to my Pegasus board through chess.com app.
It worked half a year ago, but now when I wanted to play again, chess.com app does not use the board although it says it is connected. It works with the DGT app, or White Pawn, but not with chess.com. Any idea what could be wrong? Help is really appreciated. Thanks.
