A second bakelit swiss clock

Sort:

I posted recently a chess clock ( bakelit ) which I was selling in Ricardo. Many people contacted me if I could sell it directly. Unfortunately, the clock is already sold (for 450 swiss francs).

I have another clock, with red buttons instead of blue buttons) which I am planning to sell. I will first show it to a friend, but I am not sure if he will choose this (I have an extensive collection of chess clocks, and perhaps he will take other items.

If the clock is still available tomorrow, I will sell it for 450
Swiss francs . I can send more photos later.

It works perfectly, very quiet. In my opinion this is a much better clock than the famous Solora clock, also made in Switzerland. The design is modern, even for today's standards. Please note that the clock is in not perfect condition, as it has some marks on the left dial. But it is in good collectable condition. I only saw 3 of these clocks in my whole life. Two I purchased, and the other one was to sale in a shop in Switzerland for an exorbitant price - and the clock was in really bad condition. I guess this clock was produced only over a short period of time and it is probably one of the rarest clocks in the world (if you exclude the clocks of the first generation).

For comparison: I purchased already several Solora clocks in flea markets.

Also this clock was sold, and this is the last one. Thanks everyone for the interest. Please check regularly the website Ricardo, where I am offering very interesting chess items, and new sets, boards, books and clocks are posted weekly.

Like this Tak Tik Wehr-Schach, a famous alternative chess set.
