And, honestly, I don't even understand why you're trying to bury this thread. We could easily create a new thread on the same topic and just rehash all of the discussion. It just seems to be a pointless objective to me.

See, I don't care about who makes a fake ID or whoever screenshots this. This isn't surprising and new also. I receive almost 5 cases a day regarding Cyber thefts and criminals impersonating national police and the FBI for thefts and crimes. All those "Fake" copies of Identity cards are considered null and void unless they have a valid ORI number, OCI number, and FBI biometrics (You may not understand that). Now in reply to your question, I know that there isn't any federal law broken here but It makes me interested to chat with people during my personal life whether on social media or in a chess server. All officers aren't forced to work seriously every time, during our Lesuire we can do whatever we want. Hope it clears your doubt.
So, you're admitting that the FBI doesn't have any interest in this thread, and it's only you that has some problem with it? Then why did you even bring up the FBI angle in the first place? Clearly to try to impress or scare us in some way. And imho, your claim is highly suspect anyway. And what I do understand is that fake IDs aren't that expensive on the internet...
DonT you worry, I'm Jack Bauer (undercover) and I'm watching this thread very closely. My CTU department already found out the home addresses of some impostors and I'm on my way!

That's the same thing I told @BattlechessGN18. I'm not trying to squelch or bury this topic. At some point, I stopped all chatting here and you guys started it again. The best way to forget all this is to create a new forum/thread and share your positive and negative critiques on BC-GOK but you guys are still not accepting it.
For someone who's not trying to bury this topic, you seem to be putting a lot of energy into that goal...

Well, I have bad news for you. So far, we've chosen to continue the discussion in this thread. And so far, you've been unsuccessful in preventing us from doing that.
Bye. I'm not staying as a barrier against your discussions. The following acts violates US laws and anything that violates US laws are prohibited in chess.com
Good, I'm sure most of us will be glad to see you leave. We can continue our discussions of BC-GOK, bugs, and crashing in this thread.
Oh, and if anything in this thread were to violate federal law, staff would shut this thread down in a heartbeat. Strangely, so far they haven't done that.
Well, back to the discussion of the BC-GOK software. I read some of the reviews on the Steam web site. A few reviews from the April-to-July 2021 time frame claim the program still crashes. One review from September 2021 *thinks* that the crashes were fixed with a recent update. I'm dubious though, as the web site indicates that the last update for BC-GOK was build 11204 in October 2018.

After wasting a bunch of time scrolling through this nonsense, I recalled the advice given me years ago by a former Navy intelligence person I met in grad school:
"If you're ever in a bar and some guy is wearing a Nave SEAL hat, walk up to him and punch him in the face. He's not a Navy SEAL. And he probably can't even fight. He's just pretending to be a Navy SEAL to act like a tough guy."
All this hooey about being an FBI operative kind of reminds me of that.
No FBI Agent runs around on web sites posting that they are FBI agents. And I'm not dumb enough to believe it. It isn't even a good hoax. It's not funny or clever or anything.

Lol My good Dr. Spudnik, as much as we agree with you 100%, please kindly give up before you get an exorcist's head-spin. Everything you've mentioned (except for the fake Navy Seal analogy) we have already told @Swen7AWinter more than several of times, and he still doesn't get it; nor will he ever.
Of course, I do find your analogy quite intriguing. When you say a Navy [sic?] seal hat, were you referring to a lovely duckbill like this below?
By the way, since Mr. FBI Detective is the one who brought up the subject, he basically sent me a "image not loaded" error image. There was no photograph of anyone's law enforcement Identification (which, as @EscherehcsE and @DrSpudnik has pointed out, would have obviously been very moronic, were it to have been done; what imbecile for a daft secret service agent would lunkheadedly, tactlessly, thoughtlessly, inanely reveal his/her identity to people on the internet, just in here hopes that we might shut up and do what FBI says?)
So, nope, folks. I'm very sorry to your dismay: I did not in fact see what "John Joel Cyril" looks like. I cannot confirm that he's really not 16 and is actually 26 with a plastic surgery done to make him look younger. Nope. No confirmation at all.
Trying to keep on topic, I've been digging in the Steam info again. I went to the "Discussions" section for BC-GOK, and the very first discussion thread is a petition that someone started requesting the developer to provide regular updates and to complete the game. I didn't read through the entire long thread, but the gist of it is some people are apparently still p.o.'d about things. Even as of 6 days ago, a couple of people are saying that the game still crashes...SIX DAYS AGO...

If @4_proud_provinces buys the program, maybe he can report back to us that it's still Build 11204, and whether it crashes on him. But even if he doesn't report on it, I think I've done more than enough digging to convince myself to stay away from the program.
Honestly, @EscherehcsE, I'm guessing Battle Chess: Game of Kings will eventually go down the gutta'. It's too buggy, and a lot of the old well-loved Battle Chess features just aren't there. In this day and age, we have so many great computer games for chess that dumbed-down GoK just can't compete with.
One day, if and when I am proficient in C++, Java and or Python coding, and I've learn 3D animation, I'll probably collaborate with my own team to recreate Battle Chess for Interplay; assuming that I'll some way obtain permissions to do so.
It's still a long way to go, but it is a loose endeavor of this Chinese lady.
I deleted it a few minutes after sending it. Even if it's a stranger or a friend, he/she can't do anything about it. Can you state a few points on what a stranger can do with my FBI card ? Hardly anything. I'm not yet sure If she had believed me but It's clear on my side. The only thing I'm concerned in sending here is about people like you, finding silly faults in things you envy. Admit it, you are just feeling covetousness in the fact I'm a real agent and proved you completely wrong about your lies.
I don't envy anything about you and your claims.
Now let me get this straight. You claim that you're an undercover FBI agent, yet you send your "FBI department ID card" (with your photo on it, I'm assuming) to a complete stranger on the internet, who could have easily made a copy or a screenshot of your ID and passed it around to God knows who. You apparently have some kind of objective of getting this thread deep-sixed, and since no federal law has been broken in this thread, exactly why are you so interested in this thread? I've asked you twice before why the FBI would be so interested in this thread, and so far you've ignored my question both times. I'm still waiting for a reasonable answer.
None of what you've been saying has made any sense. That's why I'm laughing so hard at all of your antics.
