whoever they are, I don't know about them so no, they weren't the next big chess pair. And brownsville is just a poor town

Many years ago, a club of young chess players in New York City, called the raging rooks, were champions. I wonder if the club is still going
Here is an interesting article that CBS did on two chess brothers from Brownsville, Texas. The two brothers already tied as national champions last year and both have already gotten a FULL scholarship to the University of Texas at Brownsville!
