.....I live in Sunderland, England. I have many interests, but have a particular liking for all things sci-fi....(especially star trek, BSG....and Red Dwarf!) chess, Sunderland AFC (association football/soccer team), and music. I'm a massive fan of David Bowie, and German metal band, Rammstein. I read quite a lot, mostly historical or heroic fantasy, with Conn Iggulden, Giles Kristian, George R R Martin and David Gemmel being some of my favourite authors. I'm a Libertarian and strong believer in freedom of choice/speech, and I'm strongly supportive of smokers rights. 

As far as chess goes, my favourite is the world's greatest ever player..... Garry Kasparov.
