Leonard Cohen's VARIOUS POSITIONS

A chess club for an eclectic mix of people who appreciate the poetry, novels, song lyrics & music of Leonard Cohen or just wish to expand their mind and explore his work. This "poet laureate of pessimism" has provided great pleasure and laughter for the millions of fans who buy his records. Cohen published his first book of poetry in Montreal in 1956 and his first novel in 1963. His material often deals with the exploration of religion, isolation, sexuality and interpersonal relationships. This opens the door of possibility that anything may be discussed among our members.
