British OLCC Rapid - Blitz Championships Qualifiers

This is the  British Online Chess Championships   Qualifiers tournament club for the

Rapid & Blitz Championships.  Entrants should  also join the Festival Club.

Please note that information about the Qualifiers for the British Championship, which start on Saturday 24 July at 7pm will also be posted here as well as in the Festival Club.

Only accepted entrants may join this event club, which is tournament specific, by the above JOIN button

British Championship Qualifier – G45/15  5 rounds  Swiss (1 round per day)

Saturday 24 July, 7pm daily to Wednesday 28 July

The 9 round Final (a G60/15 round a day) will be held on Zoom staring Friday 30 July, 7pm daily to Saturday 7 August with Sunday 8 August at the earlier time of 4pm reserved for any play-off.

Third event:      Monday 26 July, 1pm

The Final will be held on Zoom at 7pm  on Thursday 27 July

Rapid Championship Qualifier - G10/5  7 round Chess.com Swiss

Entries close:  TBA

First event:       Tuesday 27 July, 10 am

Second event:   Wednesday 28 July, 10 am

Third event:     Thursday 29 July, 10 am

The Final will be held on Zoom  10am on Friday 30 July

To enter an event in the  British Online Chess Championships which run from 24 July to 8 August 2021 you must do so before the entry deadline via the online entry form from the Festival website and once accepted then join the Festival home club  on chess.com for news and information during the Festival.
