I am pretty new to chess, starting around October 2022. I'm enjoying playing and learning and (hopefully) improving. I play a fair amount OTB with my boyfriend and friends, who have been playing for much longer than I have, I usually lose but I have no doubt I'll break their win streaks soon . I enjoy our En Peasants Club tournaments; and have played in one OTB tournament so far (Torbay Chess Congress 2023). 

I have a few goals I'm working towards:

- Secure a consistent rapid rating of at least 1100
- I want to learn a new opening. The Pirc Defence and London System are serving me well, but if anyone has any recommendations for openings to advance, I'd love to hear from you!

Also I swear I'm better than my bullet makes it seem, I'm studying at uni atm so quick (bad) chess seems to be the only kind I can do rn </3
