GAMES: Opening Trap of Sicilian: Halasz Gambit
10. Ne4 "From this move I can win a piece if black trys to put his knight at e3." i fail to see how that happens with calm and logical play. actually from this position 10...Ne3 is beautiful and works out marvolesly for black. look closer 10...Ne3 forking the queen and the rook so you have to take it with 11.Bxe3. back responds with a natural dxe3 and now white is in trouble. black has a reinforced pawn right in the center of whites defence, slowing down movement and tightening the strain on whites weak king. also note that the pawns bishop defender on c5 has a discovered check if that pawn is moved.meaning that if it can move forward you get forked out of a queen or a rook for a pawn. not pretty.
one theng to remeber is that before you jump into openings it to not blind
youreself with the fact that you are playing with a cool opening.
i have this problem as well. i look forward in the future to playing the bendcat gambit ^_^

after 10...Ne3? 11.Bxe3 dxe3 12.Nxc5. Winning the bishop for free. black best response then may be 12...Qb6 with a powerful attack on whites knight. If he moves the knight (for ex 13.Ne4??, then 13...e2!!+ wins the white queen.)However 13.b4 defends the knight and white is a piece up.
That my analysis, just looking at it quickly. Im sure theres other moves to consider.
This is my game in Free Internet Chess recently. My opening against Sicilian, I don't know if it is really called Sicilian: Halasz Gambit, or maybe I can name it as mine (Bendcat Gambit ). This opening is very rare but I think it is playable against sicilian, I'm comfortable playing it. Here some moves of this gambit that can force black into trap or checkmate.
