Country Name/Population/Location/Government Type: Dictatorship

The country’s name is Jos-topolis, named after their dictator. Everything that they do can be and will be done in the name of Josiah Benedict. The country is located in the Mediterranean Sea and will after try to attack Spain and Italy trying to get world domination. The population is an estimated 700,000, but who knows how many there actually are because no one is idiotic enough to enter the country.

Famous Wars/Conflicts

The War of Desolation was a war that happened before the start of the country’s beginning as a dictatorship. It was the cause of the resulting country ruled by Josiah Benedict, the current reigning ruler and dictator of the Mediterranean island country. A civil war took place between two past political parties; the Jos-topolians and the Anacterans. After a long, four year, bloody war, the Jos-topolains took control of the country’s political system fully, putting their leader, Josiah Benedict, in “office.” His first act in office was to exile members of the opposing party to small islands along the coast of the country’s shoreline, several hundred miles from the mainland, and with no aquatic transportation and whatnot. Not much has been heard about these exiled people since they were sentenced ten years prior.

Interactions with Other Countries

Jos-topolians are known to be very aggressive and cold with their outward relationships in the world. Surrounding countries such as Spain, France, and Italy have not taken much notice of the fastly growing country. Italy has expressed the most concern, in being that it is one of the closest larger European countries to the island nation. Parts of Greece, Albania, and Sicily have already been taken and claimed by Jos-topolis. As far as trading resources goes, Jos-topolis’ main source is from Yemen, a country located on the tip of the Arabian plate, and mainly provides oil and other fossil fuels to provide for military machinery in their navy, air force, and army.

Name of Continent/Size/Location

They are located in the Mediterranean Sea, which is a part of Europe. They have taken control of some other land located in other small and major countries located in the surrounding areas, such as in Greece, Albania, and Sicily, as well as other small island nations located near the vicinity of the island. As well as owning smaller parts of Europe, they also have small bases scattered throughout the lower parts of Asia. Jos-topolis also claims to own islands throughout the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. Much of the land claimed by this country is used to establish military bases as they plan for their next move in taking over large parts of Eurasia, as well as moving to smaller countries in Africa.

The Capital of Jos-topolis is the major metropolitan city of Jos-tania, which has been claimed to be the birthplace of their founder, Josiah Benedict. The country itself is divided into three states; Jos-Fairland, the most northern part of the island, lush with vegetation and forests with the least amount of the population, Jos-Falkland, the most inner part of the island, contains most of their crops such as cotton, wheat, and coffee beans, and Jos-Coastland, the bottom most and surrounding areas of Jos-Falkland, this state contains many of the ports and military forts, as well as small islands discovered to contain precious minerals such as silver and gold. They also have many oil platforms located in five different parts of the Mediterranean, although most of their oil is imported from Yemen.

When did it become a country?/ Life Expectancy/ Currency and Economy

The life expectancy of Jos-topolis is roughly around 85 years, one of the highest in the world making them not that vulnerable to die of natural causes. Jos-Topolis was created during WWII by Russia as an experiment to see how radiation affects the human and wildlife. That is why their currency is the Russian ruble, because after WWII they became allies, some of the Russian culture has spread that way, their plan is to try to take all of Europe and attempt to take over the world. They have a really great navy and Air Force, the two they need to really succeed which is scary because Russia is only one place behind the USA in military power. It’s size is roughly around the size of California. Around the size of Spain.

Some important landmarks located on the island of Jos-topolis are Josiah’s Point, Jos-Fall, Mount Jos-Highpoint, and Lake Jos-Onka. Josiah’s Point is a large statue created in honor of their dictator, Josiah Benedict. The topmost point of the statue is around 300 feet from the ground, making it one of the highest built forms of art and architecture on the entire island. Jos-Fall is the main temple located on a cliff face overlooking the sea. It was created in honor of their religion, Jos-Christianity. Mount Jos-Highpoint is the highest peak located on the mainland of the island. It is said to be the closest place to God, and many people go there to worship. Lake Jos-Onka is a medium sized lake located in the Jos-Falkland, where it provides irrigation and freshwater for the surrounding crops and settlements. It is also known for a major salt mine located near the center and deepest section of the lake.

Brief History of the Country

The country was originally created during World War II by Russia as a base for experimenting on chemical and nuclear weapons on some of the surrounding islands off the coastline. During the early 1990s, people who were born and raised on the island rebelled against Russia and took over the island after a rather easy surrender. This resulted in the island being split into two parties fighting over the right to take control of the land. It wasn’t claimed to become an actual civil war until 2008, where the War of Desolation raged for four years, Jos-topolians against Anacterans, where they used methods of force and offensive tactics. The Anacterans stayed in the northern part of the island, and the Jos-topolians stayed in the southern and innermost part of the island, having an advantage with the sheer amount of population in their area. After the war, Josiah Benedict was put into office and exiled self proclaiming Anacterans to somewhat remote islands several hundred miles from the coastland. It has been close to around ten years since the end of the war, and Josiah has remained the ruler and dictator of the large island country, directing military and claiming land throughout Europe, Asia, and the Pacific as well as the Atlantic oceans.

Religion

The religion of Jos-topolis is Jos-Christianity, which is a religion that mainly follows the story of the prophets of God and of Jesus Christ. The only difference between Christianity and Jos-Christianity is that they believe that Josiah Benedict is Jesus Christ returned to earth.

Current problems

Ever since the United States bombing, Jos-Topolis has started to go into despair because all of the soil has become unsuitable for farming. They have started to grow crops on the small islands surrounding it, and while farming they found precious resources such as natural gas and lapis lazuli.
