How to learn chess? Common mistakes, and what is the right way?
So, lets us take a look at chess. We can divide chess into three parts:
Openings
Middle games
End games.
I always explain to my student the main principle of learning chess. We need to learn chess from the end to the beginning! That is also the main mistake in learning chess. Almost all people are trying to learn chess from the beginning to the end. And that is dead wrong!
Let's try to understand this principle with examples. You can take all pieces but you can not checkmate the opponent if you don't know how.
You can calculate combinations or create plans in the middle game, but you don't know what is winning position and what is the draw.
If you don't know where to go you can not come there.
You can learn openings deep, but you don't know which positions you want to get in the middle games and endings....
Like this people always go from the beginning to the end, and they are always wrong...
