Due to a suggestion of D3sertDog, I looked in to inviting an entire club such as the GingerGM Group (Simon Williams) to our club.

I found there are some problems with this due to Chess.com restrictions. Apparently it is against the rules to send a personal message to someone inviting them to your club. So the approved mechanism that is available to club admins is to invite members using a club menu item. Even this method is limited to 30 members per day. I’ve also read stories about some admins getting muted by Chess.com when they used the approved feature! This is because some people mark the invite message as spam.

Also I’ve noticed in the past that if members join the club through invitation, there is no notice of this to club admins. So my advice is not to invite many members using this method.

The other problem with a mass invitation is that I think it would be somewhat awkward to invite someone to your club only to reject them due to our screening process.

The best solution I can think of is to join the club you want to invite and sound out the administrators policy regarding inviting members to our club. If it’s allowed then post to their Forum and/or Notes about our club. Then anyone interested will go through our normal screening process.
