This is intended to define the parameters we should work within for our fair challenges.

First of all, looking at any roster 2-3 months after a TM has been released should be enough to realize that regardless of the effort we are going to put into this, none of the matches we are going to release will be objectively fair. There are too many variables at play to acheive this ideal, as a TM roster is just a screenshot of a given rating structure but does not includes the dynamics of it.

1. Unrated players should be allowed to play as everyone needs to get a rating one way or another.

2. A great portion of players in a TM have not had their rating stabilize because they have not played enough games yet (I am part of these). Some are overrated, some are underated.

3. Some people may be underated because they have just timed out on a bunch of games.

Since we will never look into these details when locking a roster, we will have to rely on the screenshot. Therefore I consider the "fair matches" idea only as a set of parameters to work within so that:

1. Both admins feel they have equal chances getting into the match.

2. Friendship and collaboration between groups is promoted rather than agression. We could rename "fair matches" to "drama free" matches, it would mean the same to me.

3. Players signing-up feel confident they will not be sent to slaughter. Therefore we expect more players to sign-up to these matches and this is beneficial to the activity of both groups involved.
