Through ClubChess, Ron Fader conducts student-based chess clubs at schools in Atlanta as well online to students nationwide. Our club members are encouraged to explore the game of chess through analysis rather than memorization; We pursue sound principles of the game, teach tactics and strategy and P-L-A-Y chess. Played wisely, chess is one of those games in which a club member will usually defeat their parental opponents; Our approach includes formally playing parents/teachers during the year for students to "show off" their skills. We strive to compete at state and national scholastic tournaments which means… weekend road trips!
