hello! as the forum title suggests, this is about how to add mods and what optimization mod packs you should use, if you DONT know how to add mods, i suggest looking at this blog i made as it tells you most of the stuff you need to know. (its not very well made but i tried) now lets get started with the modpacks!

1. Fabulously Optimized, a modpack with some QOL improvements (Quality Of Life) and a bunch of fps boosting things, there is some other stuff which you may not want. which is why other options exist.

2. SOP, it focuses on PURE optimization.. however it only has 18 mods and doesnt include some other really nice mods. (i forgot to mention: since this server is 1.21 DOWNLOAD 1.21 FABRIC!!! NOT 1.20.4)

3. Sodium+, a mod that adds.. a few to many QOL things but still has a lot of good FPS boosting stuff, so if you like the QOL things, use this one.

and at long last (the best one if you dont want any random things and just want the FPS boosting things): 4. adrenaline, it boosts fps and fps only, no other random things, just PURE fps boosting stuff.

1 last note: do NOT set your fps really high if you have a pc that usually shouldnt handle that kind of fps, in case you did not know, your pc uses power to create fps, the more fps needed, the more power, if you set the fps limit to high, your pc will use so much power it will become laggy and also really heat up your pc, so be careful. see you whenever the server launches!
