Hello my name is Ian. I learnt the moves at the tender age of 10, didn't do much with the game until I was 19 when I got a book on the Karparov v Karpov WCC Moscow Marathon in 1985. From there I was fascinated by the game of chess. I taught my daughter the moves at the tender age of 6 and son aged 7, only for her to give it up 2 years later for High School Musical!

My claim to fame is that I was at the WCC between Kasparov v Short Game 1 in London 1993.
