I used to play at work and then entered a couple of the Evening Standard Chess Tournaments in the UK. I did OK, winning about 60% of my games. At that time I was reading chess books and even knew the names of a few openings, but that time is long past. I stopped playing regularly about 34 years ago. I don't know what the ratings mean in chess.com, but I guess I will be in the 1300-1400 range and may (hopefully) get better with time.
